01 · WHAT IT SOLVES

Keeping the tube from falling or kinking

It rests on the rim of the vessel and takes the hose: it stays raised, aimed and still. Without it the tube slides inwards, leans on the edge or ends up on the floor.

And there is a detail that is not about comfort but about hygiene: the outer wall of a drum, the bench and the workshop floor are not food-contact surfaces. What the mouth of the tube touches matters.

02 · THE BEND

A kinked tube is not just untidy

The geometry of the bracket guides the tube without closing its radius. A hose bent at a sharp angle throttles the flow — with dense honey you notice that at the pump — and it cracks the tube wall from the inside, where you cannot see it until it splits.

Keeping the curve open extends the life of the hose, one of the most frequently replaced consumables in a honey house.

03 · THE TWO DIMENSIONS

The hose and the rim

Two figures to check: the hose at Ø40 mm, which is an inch and a half, and the rim of the vessel, up to 50 mm thick. With that it fits drums, tanks, settling vessels and stirring vats.

It goes on without tools and comes off the same way. Being stainless, it washes with the rest of the kit and does not pit with the acidity of honey.
