Drum filter riser: it lifts the filter above the drum mouth so you can see the honey going in.
It is for seeing, and that is what avoids the mess. A filter resting on the drum mouth covers exactly what you need to watch: the level. This stainless steel ring raises it enough to follow the filling without removing anything. 56 cm diameter, the size of a standard drum mouth.
01 · TO SEE HOW IT FILLS
Filtering into a drum, there is no gap between filter and honey to look through. You fill blind, calculating by time or by weight, and you find the error when honey starts coming over the rim.
From there it is not just the product lost: it is the outside of the drum dirty, the pallet sticky and a clean-up nobody had planned. The riser costs what it costs and solves exactly that.
02 · 56 CM: THE DRUM MOUTH
The diameter is 56 cm, made to sit on the mouth of an ordinary drum. It is a passive accessory: nothing to fit or adjust, you put it on and take it off.
It is stainless steel, which on a part that will be in contact with honey and washed in hot water is the only sensible choice. If your filter or your drum is a different size, tell us before ordering.
