After uncapping, a fair amount of honey stays in the cappings. Instead of buying a cappings spinner, this fine-mesh bag spins them in your own extractor: load the cappings, hang it in the basket by its hooks and the honey comes out as it turns. The cheapest way to dry cappings.

🍯 Recover the honey with no extra machine

Fill the bag with the cappings from uncapping and hang it in the tangential extractor basket with the steel hooks included. As it spins, the honey passes through the mesh and the cappings drain —you recover what you'd otherwise throw out with the wax—. The fine mesh holds back more particles, so the honey comes out cleaner.

⚖️ Balance the extractor

Important: when spinning, balance the basket. On even-frame extractors, use two bags in opposite positions; on odd-frame ones or with a single bag, counterweight it with another sack or a frame of similar weight, to avoid vibration and the extractor walking. Bag size 500 × 360 mm. Want it to drain faster? It also comes in coarse mesh.
