Monolobi 60 or 100: start with the installation

The Monolobi 60 has a 0.75 kW motor and 40 mm connections; the Monolobi 100 has a 1.5 kW motor and 50 mm connections. Both regulate flow by changing rotational speed and can reverse the pumping direction. The choice therefore affects hoses and fittings as well as motor size.

Between a tank and filling machine, the pump should deliver what the next machine can receive. Include lift height and hose length when selecting equipment: actual flow depends on honey viscosity and resistance throughout the circuit. A litres-per-hour figure alone does not establish how far you can pump.

Feeding in the field without mains electricity

The Chiaramello syrup pump uses a petrol engine. It suits taking a tank to an apiary without an electrical supply. The gun and hose extend the delivery point to the feeders; they are separate accessories, so prepare the whole system before leaving.
