Details of APIDEA mating Feeder

In a mini-nuc, feeding from above avoids occupying the limited frame space. This feeder is designed for the APIDEA mating nuc and holds up to 1.2 kg of feed.

🥣 Capacity adjusted to the mini-nuc

The design allows feeding without directly opening the frame area. Adjust the amount to the population and consumption: filling to the maximum is not always necessary in a small colony.

🌡️ 2 cm Polystyrene

Made of high-density brown polystyrene, the same type as the mini-nuc, with a thickness of 2 cm. Check the perimeter fit and protect the piece from impacts or tools.

⚠️ Feed without contaminating the harvest

Use appropriate and fresh feed, avoid spills, and remove fermented remains. Plan feeding outside commercial honey production and monitor for robbing, condensation, and bee access.
