This is a total aeration grid base that fulfils its function as a screened bottom board since all the varroa that is stripped falls directly to the ground making it impossible to raise it back to the hive. It is possible to put a tray to control this fall and/or to close the ventilation flow in winter. Very light and resistant, formed by an injected grid whose holes have the same step size as the grids used in pollen traps. In such a way that this base can be converted into a floor pollen trap in a very versatile and simple way.
In addition it has lateral holes for the screws of subjection to the body of the beehive and notches for the clips of subjection. A ribbon in the centre of the hole prevents deformation and allows the hive to be separated into two parts if it is to be used for dividing colonies or for queen breeding.
