Details of ApiDana Magnet Pro numbered magnetic queen marking discs

The colour identifies the year; the number distinguishes each queen. These metal discs combine the international five-colour code with consecutive numbering from 1 to 100.

🎯 Year and individual number on a 3 mm disc

Use white for years ending in 1 or 6, yellow for 2 or 7, red for 3 or 8, green for 4 or 9 and blue for 5 or 0. White is the colour for 2026 and yellow for 2027. The number can be linked to your own record of origin, date or nucleus colony.

🧲 The magnet positions; the glue fixes

The disc is held at the tip of the magnetic applicator while it is moved to the thorax. Permanent attachment depends on suitable glue, not on magnetic force. Allow the glue to take hold before releasing the queen.

📦 Choose the format

Single-colour card: 100 discs numbered 1 to 100 in the selected colour. Five-colour set: five cards, 500 discs in total, plus one magnetic applicator. A single card does not include the applicator.

⚠️ Glue required: glue is not listed as included with any format. With the queen restrained, centre the disc on the thorax without touching the abdomen, legs or wings.
