Details of ApiDana Magneto magnetic applicator for queen marking

With discs only Ø 3 mm across, the awkward part is lifting one and centring it on the queen's thorax without it turning or dropping. This pen-shaped magnetic applicator holds the metal disc at its tip while you position it with control.

🧲 Pick up and place the disc with one tool

Bring the tip close to a compatible metal disc: the magnet lifts it and keeps it steady while you move it. With the queen restrained, place the disc over the small dot of glue on the thorax and withdraw the applicator. The magnet helps handling; the final bond depends on the glue.

✋ Pocket-sized for work at the apiary

The body measures approximately 140 × 10 mm, has a clip and weighs about 8 g, so it carries like a pen. Keep the tip free from glue and propolis for clean, accurate pickup.

⚠️ Important: contains one magnetic applicator. It is not a marker pen and does not include discs or glue. Use it with ApiDana® Magneto/Magnet Pro metal discs and a suitable queen-marking glue. Do not press on the abdomen, legs or wings.
