A ready-to-use liquid sprayed on the top bars of the frames to open the hive without lighting the smoker: three sprays, ten seconds of waiting and gentle handling. One-litre bottle with a sprayer. Purified water, an infusion of chamomile, lemon balm and coriander, fructose, acetic acid and essential oils of peppermint and lemongrass.

It does not replace the smoker in everything, but for a short inspection it avoids lighting a fire and everything that means in summer.

01 · HOW IT IS USED

Three sprays and ten seconds

It is applied straight onto the top bars of the frames, three sprays, and per the label you wait about ten seconds before starting work. The one-litre bottle comes with its sprayer, so there is nothing to mix or decant. The label asks you not to use it in excess: more product does not give more effect and does leave the top bar wet.

02 · WHAT TO EXPECT

A combustion-free option, with its limits

Not depending on fire, it allows short interventions without smoke, which in fire-risk season is the difference between going into the apiary or not. What it is not: a guarantee against stings or a universal replacement for the smoker. The response varies from colony to colony, so protective equipment and gentle handling stay exactly as they were. Store it between 0 and 25 °C, ventilated and out of direct sun; it lasts twelve months from manufacture, so check the batch date before using it.
