Dulcofruct
Dulcofruct, also represented by the IdealBee range (formerly IdealApi), supplies syrups, fondants and protein feed. Start with the colony’s need, then choose the formulation: Classic, Optimal and Complete are not just different pack sizes of one syrup.

Classic, Optimal and Complete: what changes in the syrup
IdealBee Classic is the most concentrated of these three families, with 77.5–78.5% dry matter. Optimal declares 71–73% and includes plant extracts. Complete/ApiTotal adds vitamins, minerals and amino acids to the sugar base.
Dry matter lets you compare how much feed and water each container carries. It also changes dilution calculations: Classic and Optimal need different water additions to reach the same final concentration. Small containers simplify manual distribution; drums and IBCs require plans for transfer and use after opening.
Energy fondant, protein patties and mixing powder
Energy fondant mainly supplies sugars. Protein patties also supply protein; ApiPollen powder is a concentrated product used and prepared as its label directs. Its 58% crude protein content is not the percentage in every patty made from it: adding syrup changes the final composition.
Smart Nucs comes in 250 g portions for mating nucs. IdealBee Queen fondant comes in 7 g portions for queen transport-cage food compartments. These are different scales and uses, not interchangeable products selected simply as “queen feed”.
Feed to address an identified shortage
Check stores, incoming pollen and consumption before choosing a combination. Plant extracts in a feed do not turn it into a medicine for brood diseases. Keep feeding outside the commercial harvest and store products according to their labels.
