This energy candi is supplied in 6 bags of 2 kg and provides a solid feed that can be placed close to the area occupied by the bees.

01 · COMPOSITION

Energy in semi-solid form

The manufacturer's data sheet states 40–41% fructose, 91–92% monosaccharides, 80–81% dry matter, and 19–20% moisture. It is an energy feed; it does not replace a protein source when pollen is unavailable.

02 · HOW TO PLACE IT

Open downwards and near the cluster

Make a controlled opening in the bag and place it on the frames with the cut facing downwards, where the bees can access it. The heat of the colony helps soften the paste; if it is far from the active area, consumption can be very slow.

03 · WHEN TO FEED IT

When it makes sense

It is suitable as maintenance support during the cold season, lack of flowers, or tight reserves. Monitor consumption and the condition of the colony: one feeder alone does not correct queen, health, or population problems.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

Field tip: Note the placement date and check how much remains on your next visit. An untouched bag while other colonies consume is usually a sign to check access, bee cluster position, population, or health status, not a reason to blindly add more feed.
