Square beekeeping veil with rigid aluminium mesh, fabric skirt and drawstring fastening. The square structure creates a chamber around the head and helps keep the mesh away from the face whilst inspecting the hives.

👀 This separation only works if the fit is correct

Position the veil fully extended and check that the mesh does not touch your nose, ears or neck when you bend down or turn your head. The skirt should overlap a closed garment and the drawstring should gather the fabric without leaving any gaps. No specific size has been documented, nor is there universal compatibility with any body type or garment.

🔎 Check it before each visit

A veil alone does not prevent all stings. Check for tears, loose threads, open seams, damaged cords or sunken areas that bring the mesh closer to the skin. Store it unfolded, with nothing weighing on top, and clean off any traces of propolis without distorting the mesh.
