Details of 4F tangential basket

A stainless-steel tangential basket for extracting 4 brood frames or 8 half-depth supers in a compatible FUEGO extractor.

At approximately 50 × 50 × 40 cm, it holds each frame tangentially to the tank wall. The basket is supplied on its own; the central shaft is not included.

01 · CAPACITY

One basket geometry for several frame formats

The layout accepts four full-depth Layens, Dadant or Langstroth frames. With half-depth supers, up to eight frames can be arranged as two per position, provided their actual size and support allow them to sit securely. This is the capacity of the basket used in the FUEGO extractor; it does not by itself make every tank or drive system compatible.

02 · TANGENTIAL EXTRACTION

Each side of the comb is extracted in a controlled sequence

In a tangential arrangement, one face of the frame points towards the tank wall. Extraction is carried out in stages: begin at moderate speed, turn the frames to work the opposite face, then increase speed gradually only when the comb is stable. This sequence limits stress on the wax, particularly with heavy, newly drawn combs or viscous honey.

03 · FITTING AND DIMENSIONS

The central shaft is not supplied

Before treating it as a replacement or an adaptation, compare the approximate 50 × 50 × 40 cm size with the tank's internal diameter and usable height. The support system, shaft, bearings, drive and running clearances must also match. It relates to the FUEGO extractor geometry; physical clearance alone is not enough to prove compatibility with another extractor.

04 · BEFORE BUYING

Confirm the extractor, shaft and frame formats

This is a stainless-steel basket without its central shaft. It is intended as a replacement for a compatible FUEGO assembly and accepts the stated frame formats when they are correctly positioned. For installation in another machine, check dimensions, fixing points and rotation before ordering. Motor, drive, shaft, tank and complete extractor are not included.
