Full beekeeping suit for children, with a detachable fencing veil and a carry bag included.

A child in the apiary needs the same clothing an adult does, to their size: an adult suit with the sleeves rolled up leaves gaps a bee can get into.

01 · MAKE-UP

Fencing veil and zips right through the garment

The fabric is thick and hard-wearing, and the veil is fencing-type and detachable: it comes off to wash the suit and holds the mesh away from the face, which is where the gap matters. It carries a decorative print, no small thing when the point is that the child wants to put it on.

02 · WHICH SIZE?

Size goes by height, not by age

The six sizes are ordered by the child's height, from 127 to 157 cm. If they fall between two, take the larger: a roomy suit is taken in with the zips, while a short leg leaves the ankle bare.

03 · BEFORE YOU BUY

What a suit protects and what still depends on you

No garment removes the risk of a sting entirely: the suit reduces it a great deal, but you still have to close the zips properly, check the mesh is not touching the face, and not leave the child alone in the apiary. If there is a history of allergy at home, speak to the doctor before the first visit.
