Round one-size beekeeping veil designed as children’s face protection within a complete, correctly fitted outfit.
The mesh creates clearance from the face and the drape covers the shoulder area, but the veil does not replace a suit, gloves, suitable footwear or direct adult supervision.
Important: this is not a toy and does not guarantee freedom from stings. An adult must check the fit before the child approaches any hives.
01 · FIT
Fit the veil over the beekeeping garment and make sure the mesh cannot touch the face, nose or ears when the head turns. Vision must remain clear and the lower edge must overlap the suit securely. Do not use it if it is loose, short, distorted or leaves gaps.
02 · FULL PROTECTION
The child must wear a closed beekeeping suit over clothing, with suitable gloves and footwear. Inspect zips, cuffs, ankles and every joint before entering the apiary. No garment can remove all risk of a sting.
03 · INSPECTION AND CARE
Look for tears, open seams, distortion or damaged fastenings. Clean according to the material, avoiding solvents and heat that could deform the mesh, then dry fully. Store without crushing so that it retains clearance from the face.
04 · BEFORE YOU BUY
One-size design means age or height alone cannot confirm fit. Try it with the intended suit and make sure it stays secure while walking and bending. One veil is supplied; suit, gloves and other protection are not included. Adult supervision is required at all times.
