A simple beekeeping veil with a square faux leather cap, fibreglass mesh and a white fabric skirt. It covers the head, face and neck without requiring you to wear a full suit; it is useful for brief visits, support tasks or as a spare set of protective gear.

⚠️ One-size-fits-all with a snug fit

The key point is not just that it fits over your head: your nose and face must remain clear of the mesh when you turn your head or bend down. This model has a compact fit and may be too small for large adult heads. Try it on with the clothes you’ll be wearing at the apiary; if the mesh touches your skin, a sting can penetrate the mesh where it touches the skin.

🏗️ Fasten the skirt securely before opening

Spread the skirt over your clothing, fasten the clasp and check the neckline. The face veil reduces exposure of the head and face, but it does not protect the rest of the body nor does it make the clothing you’re wearing underneath impenetrable. Before each use, hold the mesh up to the light and check for tears, open seams or distortions that might bring the mesh too close to your face.
