Blue latex beekeeping gloves with a long textile cuff, designed to give more feel than a thick leather glove when handling the hive. Supplied as a pair and available in sizes 6 to 11.
Flexible latex helps you feel the grip when separating frames, using a hive tool or removing propolis. It is also easy to rinse after working with honey. The trade-off is that it may feel warm and can tear if caught on sharp edges.
Measure the width across the knuckles, from the little finger to the index finger: a measurement close to 9 cm points towards size 9. Several reviews suggest a generous fit; if you are between sizes, consider the smaller one to avoid excess length in the fingers.
No glove guarantees complete protection from stings, and a sting may sometimes pass through the latex. Inspect the pair before each use and replace it if there are cuts or open seams. Do not use if you have a known latex allergy or sensitivity.
