600×400×340 EXTERIOR (MM) | 503×330×320 INTERIOR (MM) |
60 L VOLUME | 400 kg STATIC LOAD |
Food-grade plastic box with an airtight lid, for carrying honey frames from the apiary to the honey house without the bees following them.
Taking frames of honey out of the apiary in any open box invites robbing the whole way. This one closes airtight and the frames travel stacked inside, out of reach.
01 · BUILD
A food-grade plastic body with closed base and walls — no mesh — and a maximum static load of 400 kg. It washes out without fuss, which is what you want from something that will end up covered in honey.
02 · HIVE HEALTH
Loaded, it stacks safely; empty, one nests inside another. That is what changes the return trip: instead of hauling the same volume of empty boxes, you nest them and they take a fraction of the space. And the 600 × 400 mm footprint is the standard size, so it palletises cleanly.
03 · BEFORE YOU BUY
The measurement that decides is the internal one: 503 × 330 × 320 mm. Any frame whose top bar is no longer than 503 mm goes in, stacked flat. The stated capacity is up to 10 Langstroth frames; if your frame is another format, check it against those figures first.

Data sheet

The box has internal dimensions of 503 × 330 × 320 mm, and the frames are transported lying flat and stacked. It holds up to 10 Langstroth frames measuring 48 × 23 cm and also accommodates Spanish Dadant frames measuring 48 × 30 cm. Standard Layens frames measuring 36.5 × 39.5 cm do not fit because one side exceeds the 330 mm internal width.
