Khaki is Sherriff UK's best seller, and the story behind it is a curious one: the colour was developed specifically for the New Zealand beekeepers who pollinated kiwifruit orchards at night, after they found that the usual white suit drew bees to it under the moonlight.

That khaki green went on to be asked for by thousands of professional and hobby beekeepers alike. It is also a clean colour to work in, as marks show up far less on it than they do on white.

One note before you choose a size: the original Sherriff models come up large. It is worth ordering one size below what you normally wear; on a slim build, an S fits someone of 1.72 m and an M someone of 1.80 m. Available from S to XXXL.
