🧵 290 g/m² combed cotton

Made from 100% combed cotton at a high weight, 290 g/m²: more body than thin blended suits, breathable in the heat of the day and machine-washable. It is a good barrier for routine work; with very defensive colonies, a thin layer underneath adds margin, as no single-layer suit is completely sting-proof.

🪖 Removable fencing veil

The fencing veil keeps its shape and holds up in the wind without pressing onto your face like loose veils, with good visibility for inspecting frames. It unzips so you can work without it during breaks or wash it separately. As it is a close-fitting hood, get the size right so it sits properly; if you want it further off your face, a peaked cap underneath lifts it a little.

It runs large: if you are between two sizes, go one down. A quick guide by height and build:
· 1.60–1.70 m — S (slim) / M (broad)
· 1.70–1.80 m — M (slim) / L (broad)
· 1.80–1.86 m — L (slim) / XL (broad)
· 1.86–1.90 m — XL, or a snug L / XXL (broad)
· Larger — XXXL
