Single-wheel hive trolley with a low 56 × 45 cm support grid, anti-tip frame and pneumatic tyre.
Its geometry lets the grid enter beneath the hive, transferring the load towards the wheel instead of carrying it by hand. Do not choose it by hive name alone: compare the complete floor footprint with the grid and anti-tip frame.
01 · COMPATIBILITY
The manufacturer lists common hive systems including Dadant and several modular hives, but actual fit depends on the whole floor, landing board, feet and projections. A narrow nuc can be poorly supported and a 14-frame hive may overhang excessively. Measure the floor and make sure it cannot drop through or tip against the frame.
02 · LOAD CONTROL
The support grid is 56 × 45 cm and the front frame 46.5 × 49 cm. Non-slip plastic grips help control the angle. No maximum load is published: secure the hive with a strap and never infer capacity from the photograph.
03 · GROUND
The air-filled tyre travels over gravel, soil and small steps better than a hard wheel, but it remains a one-wheel trolley and requires lateral balance. Set the pressure, clear the route and practise empty; use assistance on slopes.
