Details of Orientator for bees

A coloured round plate that gives each hive a clear visual reference where many boxes share the same finish. It helps the beekeeper distinguish units at a glance and may support bee orientation, but this visual cue cannot guarantee that drifting will be prevented.

🎨 A visible reference without repainting the hive

The metal disc is 9 cm in diameter and has an electrostatic colour finish. Fitted to the front, it adds a point of contrast for recognising a hive within a row and lets you reorganise the apiary’s visual code without painting the whole box.

🔧 Screw-fixed and reusable

The plate has four fixing holes and can be fitted to wooden or plastic hives using screws suitable for the material. Because it is screw-mounted, the disc can be removed and transferred to another box when you reorganise the apiary.

⚠️ Visual reference, not legal identification: this disc does not replace the mandatory holding registration mark. In Spain, every hive must display that code in a visible and legible position using an indelible mark, in accordance with current regulations.
