Perforated stainless steel pot with lid and inner hook, for burning sulphur in a controlled way.
It measures 15 cm high and 7.6 cm in diameter. The sulphur burns hanging from the hook, clear of the bottom, and the smoke escapes evenly through the perforated body.
01 · HOW IT WORKS
The fire stays inside the metal
Hang the sulphur from the hook in the lid, light it and close the pot. Suspended, it burns all the way through instead of going out against the bottom; and because the flame stays inside the stainless steel, nothing around it touches it. Which sulphur to burn, how much and what for is set by the label of the sulphur product you use: the pot does not change that.
02 · PRECAUTIONS
Toxic smoke and hot metal
Burning sulphur releases sulphur dioxide, a toxic gas that irritates the eyes and airways: light it in a ventilated area, wearing protection, and do not breathe the smoke. Stand the pot on a stable surface away from flammable material, and do not touch or store it until it has cooled. Never inside a hive with bees.
