Replacement copper bowl with the heating element built in, as a single part, for PROVAP 110 and 220 vaporisers.
It is the part that takes the work: it holds the acid, takes the heat and gives it off, cycle after cycle, right through the treatment season. When a PROVAP starts to fail, this is the first place to look.
01 · DIAGNOSIS
If the unit is slow to reach temperature, sublimates unevenly or leaves white unsublimated residue, what is happening is that it is not getting up to working temperature. That points at two different parts: the thermostat, which regulates it, or this assembly, which generates and transmits it. The practical way to tell them apart: if the unit heats but falls short or runs in fits and starts, suspect the thermostat; if it does not start at all, or the bowl is visibly worn, it is the bowl-and-element assembly.
02 · WHY COPPER
The bowl is copper, which conducts heat far better than steel: the dose heats evenly instead of scorching at the contact point and staying cold at the edges. That is what gives a fine cloud and a dose that vaporises completely. A worn or distorted bowl spreads it worse, and that is where half-finished sublimations start.
03 · MAINTENANCE
The residue that builds up in the base acts as an insulator: each layer means the next dose gets less heat, and the assembly works harder to compensate. Cleaning the bowl at the end of the day is not cosmetic, it is what separates a spare that lasts seasons from one replaced every year.
04 · BEFORE YOU BUY
Check your model before ordering: it is made for PROVAP 110 and 220. And a point of vocabulary that causes confusion: where we say resistance, we mean the heating element, not a passive electrical component. And it arrives ready assembled: bowl and heating element are a single part, not two to be joined, so there are no holes or screws to look for.
| ✓ FITS | PROVAP 110 and PROVAP 220 vaporisers. |
| ✕ DOESN'T FIT | Vaporisers from other brands and other PROVAP models: ask us before ordering. |
| ⚠ NOT INCLUDED | The vaporiser, the lid or any medicine. |
Always work with the unit cold and unplugged. The change is made with the vaporiser switched off, unplugged and at room temperature. If you are not confident about the fitting, do not improvise.
Authorised medicines only. A spare part authorises no substance: the dose and the procedure are those on the current data sheet of the registered medicine you use.
