01 · WHAT IT DOES
It supplies the heat; it does not carry it
The burner sits inside the coil and burns the gas in a controlled way; the coil is what carries that heat to the product. They are two different parts and they fail differently: if the problem is that it will not get hot enough, look at the burner; if the problem is a leak or a distortion, look at the coil.
02 · MAINTENANCE
A wear part in a machine that runs on gas
The vaporiser works season after season with gas and heat, and the burner is one of the parts that goes. Keeping the spare on the shelf saves you from stopping halfway through a treatment round with the hives already open. If you are not confident about the fitting, do not improvise: the replacement can be booked as a workshop service.
