Details of Furetto pump

Complete replacement pump for the Furetto atomiser, part number FRG-10 and marked as part no. 10 in the equipment’s exploded view.

It replaces the assembly that draws fluid into and feeds the circuit when the original pump is damaged or has ceased to deliver a steady flow.

01 · DIAGNOSIS

Confirm the fault before replacing it

An irregular flow is not always caused by the pump. Before ordering the spare part, check – whilst the unit is cold and following the manual – for blocked or cracked pipes, leaking joints, an empty tank or dirt elsewhere in the circuit. A new pump will not rectify a downstream blockage or a fault in the heating system.

02 · ASSEMBLY

Replacement sequence

· Identify part no. 10 and check connections and orientation before dismantling.

· Take a photograph of the pipework layout so that it can be reinstalled without any crossings or kinks.

· Fit the pump without contaminating the interior and tighten only enough to ensure a seal.

· Carry out commissioning and maintenance exactly as specified in the Furetto manual.

03 · BEFORE YOU BUY

⚠ NOT INCLUDED

Replacement whilst the unit is out of service. Only carry out work on the Furetto when it is switched off, completely cool, depressurised and with the fuel supply disconnected where applicable. Drain the circuit, safely collect any residual fluid, maintain the orientation of pipes and connections, and do not force fittings. After assembly, first check for leaks and ensure the supply is stable in accordance with the manufacturer’s procedure. If the manual requires priming, do not run the pump dry.
