Adjustable Fasteners

During migratory beekeeping or on windy days at the apiary, even a slight gap between brood chamber and super can cause trouble. This lever latch prevents that. With one motion you lock the hive; with another, you open it – no wires, straps, or rubber bands. Fast, clean, and reliable, even with gloves on.

The mechanism is simple and strong: two galvanized steel pieces screwed to the hive parts (screws not included). The central screw lets you adjust the tension to match wood thickness or hive type. The lever applies constant pressure without deforming, preventing shifting during transport or vibration.

When it makes a difference:
• Migratory transport on truck or trailer
• Windy apiaries where the lid or super moves
• Cleaning or hive relocation work
• Quick connection between bottom board–brood box, brood–super, or lid–super.

Suitable for wooden or plastic hives, including Langstroth, Dadant, and Layens. Withstands impacts, humidity, and propolis thanks to its galvanized anticorrosive coating.
