Details of Frame Wire 3kg spool
Uniform wiring supports the wax foundation and reduces deformation during frame handling and honey extraction. This reel contains 3 kg of AISI 304 stainless steel wire, 0.50 mm in diameter.
Annealed steel for tensioning the frame.
The label identifies EN 1.4301 steel, annealed and bright drawn. Pass the wire through the frame holes without crossing and distribute tension across all lines before final securing.
🏗️ Tight, but without warping the wood
Tighten gradually until you obtain a firm line. Insufficient tension will not support the wax foundation; excessive tension will warp the sides of the frame. Double-check after finishing the ends.
⚡ Controlled inlay
If using a transformer, support the wax foundation evenly and apply current only long enough for the wire to penetrate the wax. Avoid touching energized metal and allow it to cool before moving.
