Manual bench tool for threading and tensioning wire in Langstroth and Dadant frames without changing equipment.
The painted metal structure combines a spool holder, guides and tensioning crank. It organises workshop work but does not embed wire into foundation and no vertical pattern is documented.
01 · SET-UP
Square the frame, fit the spool and feed wire through the holes along the horizontal route shown by the machine. Keep light tension while threading to prevent crossings and kinks.
02 · TENSIONING
Once every run is threaded, turn the crank gradually until wires are firm and parallel. Stop before distorting the frame; extra tension cannot correct poor squareness. Secure the ends before releasing the frame.
03 · BEFORE YOU BUY
The current listing states Langstroth and Dadant. Vertical wiring is not documented; confirm the route if that is your system. This tool threads and tensions wire; a separate embedding method is needed for wax foundation.
