2-inch guillotine gate for controlling the honey outlet from a honey tank or storage vessel.

Its wide passage and lever allow you to open, modulate and cut off the flow rate during transfer or filling of containers.

01 · OUTLET CONTROL

A progressive opening to adjust the filling

Fit the tap to a clean, rigid wall with its gasket seated correctly. Before filling the tank, test the closure and check that there is no play. Honey viscosity and temperature affect the actual flow rate; the tap controls it, but cannot make it identical for every batch.

02 · MAINTENANCE

Disassemble and clean the surfaces in contact with honey according to the procedure in your honey house. Check the seal and the closing area before reassembling: a crystallised residue can prevent the guillotine from seating correctly.

03 · BEFORE YOU BUY

The confirmed measurement is 50 mm internal and 60 mm external. Do not choose it based solely on the capacity or brand of the honey tank: check the hole, the wall thickness, the fixing system and the space to operate the lever.
