01 · WHAT IT DOES
Homogenises small amounts without transferring them
Homogenise a small amount, distribute seed honey or work honey starting to crystallise without transferring it. It will not melt hardened honey or guarantee creamed honey in one pass: results depend on its initial condition and the process.
02 · COMPATIBILITY
Three measurements determine compatibility
Check that the chuck holds a 10 mm hexagonal shaft and the vessel opening clears the 45 mm head. The 250 mm measurement is the total length. In plastic vessels, the manufacturer requires at least 5 cm between stirrer and wall.
03 · USING IT WITH LESS AERATION
Head submerged, low speed and short cycles
With the machine unplugged, grip the shaft by its flats and check that it runs centrally. Submerge the head before starting and begin at the lowest speed: no universal rpm is published. Avoid a vortex, keep clear of the walls and base, and stop rotation before lifting it out.
04 · BEFORE YOU BUY
Clean it before the film of honey dries
Remove it from the chuck and wash with warm water and detergent suitable for food-contact surfaces; rinse and dry. Do not use steel wool or concentrated chlorine. Stabilise the vessel, secure hair and clothing and keep hands away from rotation. Never adjust or clean it while the machine is connected.
