Details of 400V Timer for Honey Mixer

400 V timer by Carl Fritz (CFM) for its three-phase honey creamers: a Legrand 24-hour mechanical clock with a minimum stirring time of about 10 minutes, main switch and clock/manual selector in a box that CFM fits and wires into the machine’s panel. Ordered with the creamer; in the house, with the 300 kg double-walled one (1227).

Creamed honey comes from stirring a little and often, for days; the clock repeats that cycle on its own, at dawn and with the beekeeper at the apiary.

01 · WHAT IT DOES

Short, repeated stirs, without being there

On the 24-hour dial you set the slots in which the stirrer starts and stops, with a minimum of about 10 minutes per slot per CFM: brief, frequent stirs the first two or three days, when crystallisation gets going with the seed, and more spaced out afterwards. The selector switches to manual for a stir outside the program without touching the clock. The result is the same protocol batch after batch, which is what makes a fine-grained creamed honey repeatable.

02 · HOW IT IS FITTED

CFM fits it on the machine

It is three-phase 400 V wiring: CFM installs it at its factory in Mellrichstadt and integrates the box into the creamer’s panel, with switch, selector and dial accessible from the front. That is why it is ordered together with the machine; for a creamer already at home, ask us before buying it. It fits CFM 400 V creamers: in the house, the 300 kg double-walled one (1227).

03 · WHAT IT GOES WITH

The 300 kg creamer and the creaming module

The 300 kg homogeniser-creamer (1227) is this clock’s machine; the 5-10 % seed and the 14 °C of crystallisation are those of the house’s creaming module, and the clock only repeats the rhythm it is set. For other makes of creamer with a single-phase motor, the digital cyclic timer (2989).

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

Supplied fitted and wired on the creamer by CFM; the creamer comes separately.

✓ FITSAnyone creaming with the 300 kg CFM (1227) who wants automatic stirs at dawn and at weekends with the same protocol in every batch.
✕ DOESN’T FITSingle-phase creamers or other makes: the cyclic timer 2989. And a CFM already installed: ask first.
⚠ NOT INCLUDEDThe creamer.
