Designed for apiary stocking. It is not BeeFonda Extra Protein: it supplies simple sugars and vitamins, but is not a protein supplement when pollen is scarce.
01 · WHAT YOU RECEIVE
48 boxes of the 20 kg BeeFonda Extra reference
The pallet contains 48 BEFT002 boxes. Inside each box, the fondant comes in flat 1 kg packs, ready to place without making syrup or transferring feed. Their flat shape makes it easier to position each pack over the top bars, close to the area occupied by the bees.
02 · WHEN IT FITS
Accessible energy during forage gaps
Use it as support when nectar stops coming in or when stores need maintaining, especially in autumn, during wintering or between flowering periods. Place the feed near the cluster and check consumption: a pack away from the active area may go unused. If pollen is also scarce, add a suitable protein source to the plan; vitamins do not replace protein, fats or sterols.
03 · BEFORE YOU BUY
Avoid high temperatures and commercial honey harvests
The box information recommends working below 25 °C, as the fondant may soften and spill in hot conditions. Open the contact face and check that the pack is not left torn inside the hive. Do not feed with honey supers in place or during a nectar flow intended for commercial honey: the feed could be stored and adulterate the crop.
