26 × 24 cm is the limit

It measures 26 cm wide and 24 tall, for two 1 kg jars side by side. A wide-mouth 1 kg honey jar is low and round-bellied; another format of the same weight can be a good deal taller.

Measure yours at its widest point and with the lid on before ordering 25.

02 · WHAT IT WILL CARRY

Close to three kilos

Two 1 kg jars with their glass come to around 2.8 kg: that is what the gold handles take every time a customer walks off the stall with one.

That is the reason not to fill it with anything else: it is sized for two jars, not for two jars and a pot of pollen.
