01 · WHAT A SEAL DOES
It breaks, and that is the point
It goes over the lid and down both sides of the jar, so opening the jar breaks it. The buyer can see nobody opened it before: that is what they are buying, more than the picture.
It does not replace the label or any mandatory statement: it is presentation and tamper evidence, not legal information.
02 · THE SIZING SUM
It crosses the lid and runs down the sides
At 145 mm long, what is left over depends on your lid diameter: on a TO 66 almost four centimetres remain each side, and on a TO 82, about three. Plenty in both cases.
Where it falls short is on very wide lids: the bigger the diameter, the less skirt is left to grip the glass. Do the subtraction before ordering a hundred.
03 · HOW TO APPLY IT
Clean, dry lid
Peel and place, with no machine and no heat. The only thing to respect is that the lid is clean and dry: with a trace of honey on the rim, the seal lifts by itself within two days.
Centre it on the lid and smooth outwards, one side and then the other.
