It measures 24 × 17 cm, sized for a large jar. Check the height of your jar with the lid on: “1 kg” is a weight, and some formats are a good deal taller than others.

With its glass, a 1 kg jar comes to around 1.4 kg. That is half what a two-jar bag carries, which is why this one goes between two fingers.
