Details of Stretch wrap film

Clear hand stretch film roll for the beekeeping warehouse: 1.3 kg of film on a 0.3 kg cardboard core, 1.6 kg in all. For bundling pallets of frames or supers, wax blocks and boxes of jars without hiding what they hold.

A wrapped load travels as one piece: the film contains small movements, it does not straighten a crooked stack.

01 · WHAT FOR

Bundling, not sealing hives

Pallets of frames, stacks of supers, wax blocks and closed boxes of jars: each turn overlaps the last by half and the base and top get reinforced so the whole travels as one. With no documented food-contact rating it does not wrap bare honey or wax; and it does not close hives with bees inside: the film does not breathe.

02 · HOW TO PULL IT

From a low corner, in a spiral, with even tension

Start at a low corner, give one full turn to anchor and climb in a spiral with the same tension: pull harder on one side and the load leans. Line the boxes up before wrapping. A dispenser with a brake spares the hands; by hand, hold it by the cardboard core.

03 · WHAT IT DOES NOT REPLACE

Straps and corner boards when the load asks for them

It is secondary protection: pallets going by carrier still want straps and corner boards. Width, length and gauge are not published by the supplier; what is measured is the weight: 1.3 kg of film, 0.3 of core.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

One roll per unit; dispenser, straps and boxes come separately.
