Lifting operation: before every lift, inspect the clamp, its joints and the entire drum rim. Use only a crane or hoist and lifting accessories with adequate capacity; keep the load upright, clear the area and never allow anyone beneath the suspended drum.

01 · HOW IT WORKS

The drum weight reinforces the grip of the three arms

Centre the assembly over the lid and place each arm beneath the rim. When the top lifting point is tensioned, the arms close around the container and the clamping force increases with the load. This geometry distributes the effort and avoids feeding slings beneath the drum. The spring helps keep the assembly gathered while it is positioned, but the operator must visually confirm that all three contact points are properly seated before lifting.

02 · COMPATIBILITY

The container rim is the real selection criterion

A round shape or a particular capacity does not make a drum compatible. Its top rim must be continuous, rigid, accessible and able to accept all three hooks underneath without relying on the lid alone. Do not use it on distorted, cracked, very flexible or partly open rims. With an unfamiliar container, check the fit while empty and at floor level before attempting any movement.

03 · HANDLING

Short, controlled lifts with the drum kept upright

Connect the top ring to a suitable lifting component, take up the slack gradually and check that the clamp remains centred. Raise the drum only as far as needed, avoiding shocks, swinging and sudden travel. This model is for lifting and positioning an upright drum; it is not designed for tipping, angled emptying, dragging or carrying a suspended load over a distance.

04 · BEFORE BUYING

Confirm the load, rim and lifting equipment

The stated maximum load is 300 kg and must be considered together with the actual rating of the crane, hoist and every connecting accessory. The drum needs a compatible rim in sound condition. Crane, hoist, sling, shackle and other lifting components are not included. If these three points cannot be verified for your container, do not assume compatibility.
