Details of Hooded fencing veil

Fencing-style beekeeping veil with a mesh visor and a ventilated skirt that extends down over the shoulders and upper torso. It is a lightweight solution for protecting the head, face and neck during inspections, particularly when more coverage is required than a short veil provides, without having to wear a full garment.

👁️ Wide field of view and ventilation around the shoulders

The fencing-style structure keeps the mesh in front of the face and provides a wide field of vision. The skirt is also made of mesh, so it provides coverage without completely blocking airflow. A zip runs around the edge of the veil, and the lower drawstring allows you to adjust the fit over your clothing.

⚠️ Check the fit, zip and facial clearance

Before approaching the hives, close the zip fully, adjust the skirt and turn your head to check that the mesh does not touch your nose, ears or neck. This veil does not cover the arms, hands or lower body: it must be worn in conjunction with full-length clothing and used with care. No mesh can guarantee complete protection against stings.
