Details of Yellow Beekeeping Suit LYSON Premium Line
A 126 cm chest on a size S is not a misprint: those are the measurements of the garment, not of you.
LYSON Premium Line beekeeping suit in yellow, with a detachable hat veil, mesh inner lining and reflective strips. Fabric of 65 % polyester and 35 % cotton, from S to XXXXL.
01 · THE SIZE
Chosen by height, and roomy on purpose
The maker's table gives the measurements of the suit as worn, not of the body: a bee suit goes over your working clothes and has to be generous. Choose by height and check that your girth fits with room to spare.

And the house rule: between two sizes, take the larger. A tight suit loses ventilation and, above all, loses the distance that keeps the fabric off your skin.
02 · THE MESH LINING
It ventilates, and it also separates
Inside there is a polyester mesh lining that creates an air gap between the outer fabric and the body. It is sold as ventilation — and it is, together with the underarm vents — but it does a second job that gets mentioned less: it keeps the fabric off the skin, and the sting arrives exactly where the cloth rests.
On a July day, with the apiary above 35 °C, that gap is the difference between working and enduring.
03 · THE CLOSURES
Where a bee gets in
A full-length zip with a storm flap over it, elasticated cuffs at wrists and ankles, and foot straps so the leg does not ride up over the boot. The waist pulls in with a drawcord.
All of it solves the same problem: a bee does not go through the fabric, it walks in through a badly closed join.
04 · THE REFLECTIVE STRIPS
The detail that is not about bees
It carries reflective elements visible at a distance, and they are not for the apiary: they are for loading and unloading, for moving hives before dawn and for anywhere a tractor or a forklift is manoeuvring.
Made entirely in Poland, with open and flapped pockets on the chest and hips.
