A functional hive entrance must be secured without restricting the movement intended by its design.
These galvanised staples serve as retention points to fix the entrance piece to the hive wood.
01 · HOLDING
The staples can act as a guide or stop around the entrance. The exact placement depends on the profile of the piece and the direction in which it needs to slide, rotate, or be removed.
02 · INSTALLATION
First, place the tap in its working position, mark the points, and test it with a single staple. Nail progressively and without closing the arc over the piece to maintain the necessary clearance.
03 · BEFORE YOU BUY
| ✓ FITS | First, place the tap in its working position, mark the points, and test it with a single staple. Nail progressively and without closing the arc over the piece to maintain the necessary clearance. |
| ⚠ NOT INCLUDED | Protect the wood and check the closure. Avoid installing too close to an edge or open grain, where the wood could split. When finished, check that the tap does not come loose and that it reaches all its positions without getting stuck. |
