The advantage of a cone

A conical candle rests on its own base: there is no hunting for a socket of exactly the right size, as there is with a straight candle.

What you do need is a plate or holder that takes heat underneath, because as it burns down the pool of wax reaches the seat. On a stable surface, and not left unattended.

02 · HOW LONG EACH ONE LASTS

The sum in grams

A cone of 5 × 3 cm carries on the order of eleven or twelve grams of wax. At the usual consumption of a small candle — seven to ten grams an hour — each one comes to a good hour.

Burnt indoors they give hardly any soot: that is what shows against a paraffin candle.

03 · TWELVE, MADE ONE BY ONE

And that is why they are not identical

The tray holds twelve. They are made by hand, one by one, so the spiral and the tone vary slightly from one to another: that is the finish, not a fault.

They are declared as beeswax, with no blends and no paraffin, with a cotton wick and no added fragrance: the smell is the wax's own.

The tray format is what works in direct selling: as the extra that goes with a batch of honey.
