Silicone candle mold cylinder with snowflake

When the Christmas season approaches and you start melting cappings wax, it is tempting to go beyond simple blocks. This silicone mold, cylinder with snowflake, is made exactly for that: turning your own wax into decorative winter candles with clean, professional looking relief, without overcomplicating the process.

The mold is made of flexible, heat resistant silicone, which makes unmolding easy without breaking the candle or damaging the snowflake details. The cavity produces a candle of approx. 10 cm height and 5 cm diameter, using about 340 g of wax, ideal for solid candles with good stability on the table.

For comfortable work, insert the recommended wick 3x13 first, keep it slightly tensioned and close the mold with rubber bands or string before pouring. A light spray of silicone release inside helps the candle come out perfectly. For beeswax, pouring at around 50 °C usually gives very good results.

These molds can be used with different materials: beeswax, soy or palm wax, paraffin, ceramic plaster, creative concrete, epoxy resin or soap base. You can use the same tool both for 100% beeswax candles from your hives and for small decorative craft projects. A very handy way to valorise your wax and create gift pieces with a clearly “beekeeper made” finish.
