A kit for melting wax in a water bath and pouring it: electric melter, inner crucible, protective ring and wax thermometer.

Melting wax straight onto an element scorches it and darkens it. This kit brings what you need to do it in a water bath, which is how wax melts without overshooting the temperature.

01 · WHAT IS INCLUDED

The four pieces of the water bath, together

Electric wax melter, crucible that sits inside the melter and is what makes the water bath possible, protective ring covering the space the water goes into, and a wax thermometer. Bought separately you end up matching diameters; here the parts already fit each other.

02 · WHAT IT IS FOR

Melted wax for foundation and for moulds

The wax melted in the crucible is poured over foundation mills or into candle moulds. The thermometer is not an ornament: wax has a narrow working window, and above it the colour and the aroma degrade.
