1. The Point Challenge: Air bubbles love to get trapped in the star's points. Pour slowly and tap the mold firmly on your work surface. For plaster or resin, use a toothpick to gently agitate the mixture inside the tips to release air.

2. Patience is Key: The star's points are fragile if the wax is still warm. Wait for complete cooling. When demolding, stretch the silicone wide to release the points without snapping them.

3. Wick Alignment: In geometric shapes, an off-center wick is visually obvious. Ensure your wick is perfectly taut and centered using the toothpick; this guarantees an even burn and a professional look.
