Plastic wick holder for keeping the wick centred while wax cools inside the mould. In beeswax candles, an off-centre wick gives an uneven burn or a candle that melts down one side; this simple support saves holding the wick by hand while pouring.
It rests across the top of the mould and holds the wick upright while you pour the wax. It is especially handy with tall silicone moulds, where a loose wick moves easily as the mould fills.
Because it is plastic, wax residue is easy to remove and the holder can be reused across batches. It is a simple aid for more regular candles without relying on improvised knots or sticks.
