Details of Honey Wax Fragrance Oil for Candles

Honey-wax fragrance oil in a 20 ml dropper bottle, for scenting molten wax before pouring it into the mould: a few drops give the hive smell back to refined wax or a paraffin blend.

Virgin beeswax already smells of honey; the refined or blended kind does not, and that is what this bottle fixes.

01 · HOW TO USE IT

A few drops in the liquid wax, and a test before the batch

It is added to the wax once molten, never on the wick or the sheet, stirred in and poured. It is concentrated: one review finds it strong, and a few drops per candle are enough. With no published dose, test a small candle with the same wax, wick and colourant and light it: the smell cold and burning is not the same, and too much makes the flame smoke.

02 · WHAT IT IS

A synthetic fragrance, not an essential oil

It is a Bienen-Ruck fragrance oil, a perfumer’s composition with a wax-and-honey note, not an essential oil or a hive extract; it also works in oil burners. It is not for skin, cosmetics or anything eaten.

03 · WITH CARE

Irritates the eyes and can sensitise the skin

The label classes it as an eye irritant and skin sensitiser: gloves when dosing, ventilation, and the bottle closed and away from children. The oil goes in with the wax off the heat.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY
