Portable inverter generator delivering 0.7 kVA continuous / 0.95 kVA peak to take 230 V mains power out to the apiary. The pure sine wave output protects the electronics of sublimators, chargers and delicate equipment. ECO mode for low fuel use, ~4 h runtime on a 2.1 L tank and a 12 V – 4 A DC outlet for battery charging. 54–59 dB(A) at 7 m. 10W40 oil not included.
0.7 kVA CONTINUOUS OUTPUT | 0.95 kVA PEAK OUTPUT |
54-59 dB(A) NOISE AT 7 M | 10 kg WEIGHT |
The Campeón G950i inverter generator: 0.7 kVA and 10 kg to bring 230 V to the apiary where there is no mains supply.
Vaporising oxalic acid, running a small extractor, charging 12 V batteries or keeping the lights on through a long day, without depending on a socket. What sets it apart from a conventional set is inverter technology: it delivers a pure sine wave, just like a household socket, which is the supply delicate electronics expect — temperature-controlled sublimators, chargers or anything with a control board. A conventional generator puts out a far dirtier waveform, and that is what wears those circuits down over time.
01 · POWER
0.7 kVA continuous (~700 W) with surge peaks up to 0.95 kVA (950 W). It will comfortably run a 220 V OXALIKA PRO Smart sublimator (up to 360 W), small pumps, chargers and lighting; 12 V OXALIKA models too, through their power supply. It will NOT handle large electric extractors of 4 frames or more with 300-500 W motors: the start-up surge trips the breaker. If you work with semi-professional machinery or electric uncappers, this unit falls short — you need 2 kVA or more.
02 · FUEL AND NOISE
The ECO switch matches engine revs to the load it detects at any moment: when you are only charging a battery the engine drops to idle and burns far less fuel. Under light load the noise level is 54-59 dB(A) at 7 metres (89 dB(A) LWA on the plate), a discreet hum next to a conventional open-frame set. On a full tank (2.1 L of unleaded petrol) you get around 4 hours at medium load.
03 · OUTLETS
One 230 V AC Schuko socket and a 12 V – 4 A DC output for charging car batteries or the sublimator's auxiliary batteries out at the apiary. The panel is completed by the main switch, the oil alert — which shuts the engine down automatically if the level drops and protects the mechanicals — and an automatic breaker against overloads. The engine is a 4-stroke OHV 40 cc type 139F at 5500 rpm with recoil pull start: a thoroughly known architecture, with universal spares and consumables.
04 · BEFORE YOU BUY
Before the first start you must fill the sump with 10W40 oil suitable for small 4-stroke engines. The oil alert sensor will not allow a dry start, and forcing the mechanicals without lubrication is the classic failure on this kind of equipment. Buy it separately if you do not already have some in the workshop.
