01 · HOW IT IS USED

Dilute, wait five minutes, rinse

The dilution runs from 30 to 60 ml per litre of water: 3 % for ordinary soiling and 6 % for what is caked on. Apply it by hand, with a foam lance, or by dipping the parts; leave it to work for five minutes at least and rinse thoroughly.

The foam is not cosmetic: it keeps the product stuck to a vertical wall — the inside of a settling tank, the side of an uncapping machine — instead of running off before it has worked.

02 · WHERE NOT TO USE IT

Aluminium and galvanised, never

A strong alkali attacks light metals: it is not for aluminium or galvanised material. Before you drop a galvanised roof or an aluminium pan into the bucket, think twice.

With everything else there is no problem: stainless, plastic, wood and glass.

03 · WHERE IT BELONGS

From the honey room to the apiary kit

Its ground is the honey room: uncapping tables and the outsides of machinery. And outside it, everything that collects propolis — hives, frames, feeders, excluders, hive tools and smokers.
