Details of Frame Wire Stainless Steel 500g
Reel containing 500 g of stainless-steel wire with a 0.50 mm diameter for wiring frames and supporting wax foundation.
The attached technical information identifies the material as AISI 304 / EN 1.4301stainless steel. Its purpose is to form a stable reinforcement; the result also depends on the number of runs, anchoring and applied tension.
01 · TENSION
Wire without cutting into the wood
Fit eyelets in the wire holes, secure one end and thread every run before tensioning. Work progressively until the wire is firm without bowing the frame sides. Finish the ends so that they neither protrude nor come loose during handling.
02 · EMBEDDING
Embed with controlled heat
Rest the foundation on the tensioned wire and apply current only long enough for the wire to enter the wax without cutting through it. Duration varies with length, temperature and equipment. Make a test first and disconnect the power as soon as the wax closes around the wire.
